INTEREL & TRAKNPROTECT announce partnership for staff panic alert & asset tracking solutions
With this partnership, hotels that are utilizing INTEREL for guest-room control and Internet of Things (IoT) solutions can add staff panic alerts and asset tracking through TraknProtect without adding an additional network to manage the TraknProtect system. The staff panic alert system enables hoteliers to meet new requirements while avoiding the expense of duplicate networks.
Employee safety, and the ability to effectively signal for help in unfortunate situations, has been a growing issue in recent news. With the number of US cities mandating staff panic alerts in hotels steadily increasing, including New York, NY, Washington, DC, Seattle, WA, Chicago, IL, Miami Beach, FL, Las Vegas, NV, and statewide legislation introduced in California and Hawaii, hotels are seeking solutions in order to meet required standards.
“Our partnership with TraknProtect reduces both total cost of ownership and infrastructure maintenance,” said Florian Gallini, INTEREL CEO. “By building on our existing infrastructure, we’ve created a more efficient avenue for hotels to meet requirements, keep employees safe, and remain technology relevant.”
INTEREL’s connectBsmart™ BLE technology is built into every INTEREL solution, meaning every guest room thermostat or corridor doorbell can provide location-based tracking with TraknProtect panic buttons, asset tags, and personnel badges.
As opposed to simply locating an employee at the time the alert is signaled, modern location-based services provide tracking of movement. “This approach is far more advanced than other systems,” noted Parminder Batra, TraknProtect CEO & Co-Founder, “and the result is that help can get to the right place as quickly as possible.
TraknProtect’s real-time tracking of both employees and hotel assets (including inventory such as room service carts) through INTEREL’s platform provides value to hotels and keeps employees safe.”
INTEREL will be exhibiting at HITEC in Houston, TX, June 19-21, in booth #539. Schedule a meeting with us.
